Task Catcher: Black List
Sometimes there are programs you never want started on your system. Programs
added to your Black List will automatically be shut down when detected by Task
Catcher.
Kids using your computer? Black Lists are unique and may be set up
on a per user basis. Task Catcher will allow let you create a Black List of
programs you want to make sure the kids can never run.
Managing your Black List
"Info..."
Task Catcher provides additional information on listed Tasks, including the company that created
the program as well as the program version. Most legitimate program files will usually include
copyright and company information that can be displayed by Task Catcher, but not always.
"Add" This
button allows you to Add a new program to the list of programs that will
be watched or monitored. Programs on this list will be killed if detected.
When you click Add you'll see the standard Windows Open dialog which will allow you to
navigate to the folder where your program is located.
"Close"
To close or Exit the Task Catcher tab interface click the X in the upper right hand corner or the Close button.
Task Catcher will continue monitor changes but the main interface will be removed from memory.
